RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PETITIONING THE CLARK COUNTY COUNCIL
FOR THE ESTABLISHMENT OF E-911 SERVICE
WHEREAS, the Indiana Legislature has adopted enabling
legislation for municipalities to adopt local E-911 service;
and
WHEREAS, such legislation requires the Common Council
of jeffersonville to first obtain the approval or denial of
such action by the fiscal body of Clark County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville that it is hereby approved to
petition the Clark County Council for the establishment of
such service county-wide.
