MAIN STREET PROGRAM IN JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
Indiana, is in support of all actions which may lead to the
redevelopment or rehabilitation of the Old Downtown Area of the
city; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the Common
Council of the City of jeffersonville that private citizens of
the community are desirous of establishing, maintaining, and
implementing a Main Street Program in the City for the
betterment of the Old Downtown Area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of
the City of jeffersonville that it hereby endorses and lends
its full support for the development and implementation of a
Main Street Program in the City of jeffersonville, Indiana, and
hereby pledges to do all which is in its power to assist the
private citizens interested in the development of this program
of the City of jeffersonville,
in ensuring its success.
