A RESOLUTION GRANTING CONSENT TO THE TOWN OF SELLERSBURG,
INDIANA, TO ANNEX TERRITORY WITHIN THREE MILES OF THE
CORPORATE BOUNDARIES OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
WHEREAS,
petitioned
contiguous
territory
the Town Board of Sellersburg, Indiana, has
for consent of annexation of territory which may be
to the boundaries of Sellersburg, Indiana, which
is designated on the map attached hereto as Area E;
and
WHEREAS, the City of jeffersonville, Indiana, believes in
good faith that it may have intentions of annexing some of the
property contained within Area E as part of the municipality of
the City of jeffersonville, Indiana, within the near future.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Common Council of
the City of jeffersonville that it hereby consents for the Town
of Sellersburg, Indiana, to annex any portion of
designated as Area E on the attached map.
Passed and adopted this day of
1989,

by the Common Council of the City of jeffersonville,
Clark County, Indiana.
