RESOLUTION HONORING THE JEFFERSONVILLE-GEORGE ROGERS CLARK
LITTLE LEAGUE ALL STAR TEAM
WHEREAS, within the past year the Jeffersonville Little
League and the George Rogers Clark Little League have merged in
order to provide the fullest opportunity for competition for
all the youth of jeffersonville, Indiana; and
WHEREAS, the 1989 season
newly merged league and for

league, its participants, their parents and coaches, as well as
the City of Jeffersonville by constantly battling adversity in
the true spirit of sportsmanship in winning the 1989 Indiana
State Major Division Little League Boys Championship.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville hereby recognizes the outstanding
accomplishments of all individuals who have made the merger of
the Jeffersonville Little League and the George Rogers Clark
Little League possible, and who have subsequently banded
together to promote the interest of developing the youth of our
community into lifelong resources for the community and its
future leadership.
FURTHER RESOLVED that the Common

Cain, Jeromy Cravens, Lee Merrifield, and Jason Owens. These
individuals are to be congratulated for earning distinction as
State Champions, and for bestowing upon the City of
jeffersonville great pride in claiming them as participants in
the jeffersonville-George Rogers Clark Little League Baseball
Program.
So resolved this 5th day of September, 1989.
