A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
JEFFERSONVILLE REQUESTING THE POLICE PENSION FUND
AND THE FIRE PENSION FUND BUDGETARY ACCOUNTS RE-
FRAIN FROM THE COMPLETE DISPERSION OF SAID FUNDS
FOR THE YEAR 1989.
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of the City of
Jeffersonville~ Indiana to deduct from Line 2~ Form 4-B of the Police
Pension Fund $38,000 of the budgeted funds for the year 19897 as these
monies will not be used and/or needed for the year 1989~ and
WHEREAS, it is in the best financial interest of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana to deduct from line 2, Form 4-B of the Fire
Pension Fund $126~000.00 of the budgeted funds for the year 1989, as
these monies will not be used and/or needed for the year 1989.
IT IS THEREFORE RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL of the City
of Jeffersonville that it is the decided opinion that such a reduction
of expenditures would be in the best financial interest of the City of
Jeffersonville
