ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
R-2, RESIDENTIAL, TO B-l, LOCAL BUSINESS

in that the
Commissioners,
from R-2,
IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Indiana, that the Zoning ordinance be amended
property in the name of Clark County
herein described, is reclassified and rezoned
Residential, to B-i, Local Business.
Description of 2.138 acres around the city-
County Building.
Being a part of Block #70 in the city of
jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana and
further described as follows:
Beginning at an iron pin on the northeast
corner of Court Avenue (formerly New Market
Street) and Watt Street, same being the
southern most corner of said Block; Thence N.
31 Deg. W., along the eastern line of Watt
Street, 433.98 feet to an iron pin on the
western most corner of said Block; Thence N.
58 Deg. 45' 44" E., along the southern line of
Seventh Street, 362.44 feet to an iron pin on
the northern most corner of said Block; Thence
S. 31 Deg. E. along the western line of Meigs
Avenue, 434.33 feet to a drill hole on the
eastern most corner of said Block; Thence S.
58 De~. 49' W., along the northern Right-of--
Way line of Court Avenue, 362.46 feet to THE

This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
timely passage, promulgation and approval by the Mayor.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of the city of
jeffersonville, Clark County, Indiana, on the /7_ day of
