OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE.
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville is desirous of
amending said Ordinance in the best interest of the licensed employees of the office
of the Building Commission.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville that it hereby amends said Ordinance with the addition of the
following which waives fees for licensing and registration while under the employment
of the City of Jeffersonville.
SECTION 17 LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
B. Electrical License
11. While any or all Electrical Inspectors are employed by the City of Jeffersonville
as a Code Enforcement Officer the annual fee of $7~.00 shall be waived during their
employment and a complementary license shall be issued as a benefit to maintain their
license in a valid status. The Code Enforcement Officer is not to practice his
respective trade during employment within the City of Jeffersonville.
C. Heating and Air Conditioning License
10. While any or all Heating and Air Conditioning Inspectors are employed by the City
of Jeffersonville as a Code Enforcement Officer the annual fee of $70.00 shall be
waived during their employment and a complementary license shall be issued as a
benefit to maintain their license in a valid status. The Code Enforcement Officer is
not to practice his respective trade during employment within the City of
Jeffersonville.
SECTION 18 REGISTRATION OF PLUMBING CONTRACTORS
A. Definitions
1. While any or all Plumbing Inspectors are employed by the City of Jeffersonville
as a Code Enforcement Officer the annual fee of $20.00 shall be'waived during theft
employment and a complementary registration shall be issued as a benefit to maintai~
their registration in a valid status. The Code Enforcement Officer is not to
practice his respective trade during employment within the City of Jeffersonville.
This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
timely passage, promulgation and approval by the Mayor.
