The City currently has a "six month training agreement" with Aulick Chemical Solutions, Inc. (Aulick), dated 8/29/2022, which includes the following: - Delivery of chemical to specified lift stations within the collection system; and - Preventive maintenance on all chemical feed systems; and - Field hydrogen sulfide gas and liquid testing There are multiple companies which offer these services. Therefore,the City would like to issue a Request for Proposals (RFP)to receive competitive bids for the upcoming year. The City has requested this proposal from Webster Environmental Associates, Inc.(WEA)to assist them in developing an RFP as described in the scope below. SCOPE TASK 1-RFP DEVELOPMENT An RFP will be developed which includes: - An Invitation to Bid - Bidder Instructions - Scope of Work - Contractor Information - Evaluation Criteria The Scope of Work will list: - Chemical Specifications - Equipment Requirements - Monitoring& Reporting Requirements - Requirements for information to be provided on Chemical Invoices - Topics for Discussion at Monthly Meetings The requested Contractor Information will include: - Specific Information to be provided by References - Company Financial Information - Company Safety Information TASK 2-PROPOSAL EVALUATION WEA will review the proposals and provide observations for consideration to the City on the technical aspects of the proposal. These observations will be provided in writing and will be presented in a meeting with the City.
