SANITARY SEWER BOARD
MINUTES OF AUGUST 31, 2023 SPECIAL MEETING
The Sanitary Sewer Board of Jeffersonville, Indiana met in Special session on Thursday,
August 31, 2023 at 3:00 P.M. in Jeffersonville City Hall Mayor's Conference Room and via Zoom.
Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 3:00 P.M. Board Members present are Mike Moore,
Bill Saegesser, and Dale Orem. Also present are; Utility Director Len Ashack, Assistant Utility
Director Jay Thompson, and Board Attorney Les Merkley.
Board Member Orem made the motion to approve the agenda, second by Board Member
Saegesser, passing on a vote of 3-0.
NEW BUSINESS
Director Ashack reviewed the contents of the Willingness-To-Serve letter for Project Stella.
Board Member Orem made the motion to approve the letter and authorize Director Ashack to
sign and send the letter, second by Board Member Saegesser, passing on a vote of 3-0.
