RESOLUTION IN SUPRORT OF NEIGHBORHOOD SCHOOLS
URGING THE GREATER CLARK COUNTY SCHOOL BOARD TO
KEEP ROSE HILL SCHOOL OPEN
WHEREAS, Rose Hill Elementary School
school in Jeffersonville, and;
WHEREAS, Rose Hill Elementary School
downtown revitalization in that neighborhood
homeowners, and;
is the oldest name-sake
is an intregal part of
schools help draw new
WHEREAS, Rose Hill Elentary School has a close-knit school
facility of parents, teachers, students, and neighbors;
THEREFORE~ let it be resolved by the Common Council of the
City of Jeffersonville, that the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville supports the concept of neighborhood schools and urges
the Greater Clark County School Board to keep Rose Hill Elemenary
School
