Home My WebLink About2023 Southern Indiana Pride Festival Plan (BPW approved 5/17/23) a f, 2023 Southern Indiana Pride Festival Plan Location: South Section of Big Four Park Date: 6/3/2023 Time: Fence Setup: On 6/3 at 1 PM after Farmers Market Concludes Stage Setup: Friday (6/2) around 10AM Festival: 4:00PM — 11:00PM 2023 FESTIVAL INFORMATION Entry & Exit — Main entrance will be in the same location as 2022 but will be larger with more security guards and multiple lines of entry. *Vendor/volunteer entry/exit point under the ramp of Big Four Bridge along Mulberry Street. This additional entry/exit point will be manned by Southern Indiana Pride volunteers during the festival.' Fencing — Fencing company will begin setup at 1 PM once Farmers Market has concluded — last year we agreed with Jay Ellis that Pearl/Market fencing could start set up early as long as entrance to the Farmers Market was not obstructed Security — Southern Indiana Pride is contracting with Vigilance Security to provide 4 armed & 4 unarmed security guards at the event. Bag checks and metal detector wand available at front gate Information signage and banners — Southern Indiana Pride posts signage that includes festival guidelines, as well as general rules, and prohibited items Stage — Set-up at the corner of Market & Mulberry St. in the grass Food vendors — Food vendors are required to attain permits from the Clark County Health Department & display those permits while operating at Southern Indiana Pride. I I 21+ beverage tent — The Alcove is managing our beer tent this year as well as our VIP tent Alcove will ensure and manage the following: -Additional fencing around alcohol area -Wristband system -No alcohol outside of festival perimeter -No outside alcohol permitted Festival Insurance — Festival will be insured through Gettlefinger Insurance. We will list the City of Jeffersonville as additionally insured up to $1,000,000.00 Restroom Trailer — Thank you to the City of Jeffersonville for providing the restroom trailer for our event in 2022 f Rain or shine — Southern Indiana Pride will take place rain or shine. Southern Indiana Pride will heed the advice of JPD when considering any severe weather evacuations. Severe weather evacuations will be made from the stage, and will also go out via social media.
