RESOLUTION IN SUPPORT OF THE IEFFERSONVILLE
HIGH SCHOOL BOYS' BASKETBALL TEAM
WHEREAS, leffersonville High School is located within the corporate limits of the
City of leffersonville; and
WHEREAS, the members of the Boys' Varsity Basketball Team, their coaches,
managers, cheerleaders and the athletic department of the Ieffersonville High School have
worked diligently and through individual and team efforts have had a successful season:
and
WHEREAS, the Indiana High School Athletic Association Boys' Basketball
Tournament is scheduled m commence; and
wHEREAS, the Common Council and the Mayor of the City of Jeffersonville wish
to acknowledge the development and accomplishments of all persons involved in the
success of the basketball 'team, regardless of the outcome of the said tournament:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, that the City of Jeffersonville should, and hereby
does, acknowledge the accomplishments of the Jeffersonville High School Boys' Varsity
Basketball Team, their coaches, managers, cheerleaders, and the athletic department of the
Jeffersonville High School and does wish them well in the Indiana High School Athletic
Association Tournament in which they are a participant.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of City of Jeffersonville, Clark
Co~unty, State of ~diana, on this 2nd day of March, 1992.
