A RESOLUTION REQUIRING APPROPRIATION PRIOR TO
EXPENDING FUNDS FROM THE ACCUMULATIVE
CAPITAL DEVELOPMENT FUND
WHEREAS, the City of Jeffersonville has established a cumulative capital
development fund; and
WHEREAS, this fund has been earmarked for expenditures by the various
departments within the City of Jeffersonville; and
WHEREAS, the needs of the s0id departments could easily exhaust the available
monies in said fund early in the year, leaving a shortfall for any emergencies which ~ght
later arise within the same budget year;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE; that no monies shall be expended from the
cumulative capital development fund prior to appropriation or approval by the Common
Council of the City of Jeffersonville for the Mayor of the City of Jeffersonville, as is
appropriate under law.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville, Clark
County, State of Indiana, on this 2nd day of March, 1992. [~
