The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from August 31,2022. Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed,3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mr. Crouch; motion passed,3-0. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 1. Scott McVoy-.-Request for approval of venue rental agreement between the City of Jeff Police Department and The Jefferson for Police Banquet on November 18,2022—Assistant Chief McVoy advised this contract is for the annual police banquet to be held at The Jefferson. They do have the money in the budget from donated funds, not taxpayer dollars. Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the contract and Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. 2. Scott McVoy-Request for approval of contract between Jeff Police Department and Vector Solutions—Assistant Chief McVoy advised this is an annual contract for guardian tracking and the money is earmarked in their 2023 budget. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the contract and Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. 3. Les Merkley-Request for approval of conveyance of real property from City of Jeffersonville to Greater Clark County School Corporation(0.27 acre tract,part of Lot 14 of Catherine M. Hopkins Subdivision)—Mr. Merkley advised this transfers.27 acre (Lot 14 of Catherine M. Hopkins Subdivision)to Greater Clark County Schools. This is over at Bridgepoint.The property line currently goes through part of the building and the School Corporation is in the process of selling this property and needs to clean up the title and property line. Mr. Merkley provided a map showing the current property line and the proposed new property line (see attached). Mr.Waiz stated he would like to discuss changing what is being proposed so the property line goes straight back. Mayor Moore advised he would like to get questions answered prior to approval of this request and he will reach out to Blankenbaker for clarification and requested to table the matter until next week. Paul Northam-Request for approval of special events permit for All Saints Reformation Feast on October 29,2022—Mr. Northam advised the committee met and approved the All Saints Reformation Feast on October 29, 2022 from 3 pm until 7 pm. This will shut down the block on E. Chestnut Street between Locust and Walnut for the event. Mr. Northam advised the concerns were addressed prior to the approval in the Events Committee. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the permit,seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion passed;3-0.
