The meeting was held in person and streamed on the City's Website. Amy Huffman sat on the board in place of Andy Crouch. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve the minutes from June 29, 2022. Mrs. Huffman seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mrs. Huffman; motion passed,3-0. OLD BUSINESS: NEW BUSINESS: 1. Kim Calabro-Request for approval of Paid Parental Leave Policy for City employees—Mrs.Calabro advised this was approved but the Policy was never actually brought before the Board of Public Works for approval and she is requesting the approval now. Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve the Policy,seconded by Mrs. Huffman; motion passed,3-0. 2. Len Ashack-Request for approval of road closure on Cherry Street,just north of 8th Street on July 11,2022 through July 12,2022 to install manhole(open to local traffic)—Mr.Ashack advised they need to divert the flow from the west side of Cherry Street to the east side because a utility company collapsed the Sewer between 8th Street and the manhole on Cherry Street. It will take a day to do that and they will have to do that to prevent the road from collapsing that was just paved because a utility did not call to locate like they are supposed to. Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve the closure,seconded by Mrs. Huffman; motion passed,3-0.
