CALL TO ORDER: Rob Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City
Hall.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the minutes from May 11, 2022. Mr.
Crouch seconded the motion; roll call vote: Mr. Miles—aye, Mr. Crouch-aye, Mayor Moore-aye; motion
passed,3-0. 1/
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve payroll, seconded by Mr. Miles; roll call
vote: Mr.Crouch—aye, Mr. Miles-aye, Mayor Moore-aye; motion passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Delynn Rutherford—Public Hearing on Close out of Covid-19 Response Grant Program: Phase 3.—
We will now open the public hearing, is there anyone here wishing to speak on this matter?Asks
Delynn Rutherford, Grant Writer. At this time, appears to be no person here to speak on this
matter, public hearing is now closed,says Les Merkley, City Attorney. Covid-19 response program
phase 3 is now closed.
2. Christina with Animal Protection Association—Request for approval of road closure on 11th Street
in front of the APA Shelter and Fire Union Hall for Itty Bitty Kitty Day,Saturday,June 4, 2022. I
am Christina with APA and we are having a festival in front of our building and Fire Union Hall and
would like to shut down the street from 11:00 a—3:00 p on June 4,2022. Will you need City
barricades?Asks Mr. Crouch,yes please,says Christina. Also,we are having a dunking booth to
raise money at the event and would like to ask for some of you to take a 30 minute time slot. At
this time Mark Laughner,Treva Hodges, Ed Byers are signed up,says Janell with APA. Mr. Crouch
made a motion to approve the contract, Mr. Miles seconded the motion; Mr. Crouch—aye, Mr.
Miles aye, Mayor Moore-aye; motion passed, 3-0.
3. Scott McVoy—Request for approval of second amended lease agreement between City of Jeff,
Police department and Jeffersonville Public Warehouse, Inc.,d/b/a America Place. This is just an
annual lease and we have the money in our budget. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the
contract, Mr. Miles seconded the motion; Mr. Crouch—aye, Mr. Miles-aye, Mayor Moore-aye;
motion passed,3-0.

4. Christy O'Neil— Request for approval of"Children at Play"signs at the corner of Sassafras and
Penn Street and Sassafras and Graham Street. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the signs
pending police approval, Mr. Miles seconded the motion; Mr. Crouch—aye, Mr. Miles-aye, Mayor
Moore-aye; motion passed, 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no furt er business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:37 a.m.
