MINUTES
April 6,2022

CALL TO ORDER: Rob Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City
Hall. Rob Waiz,Andy Crouch, and Clark Miles served on the board.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve the minutes from March 30,2022.
Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 2-0-1 with Mr.Crouch abstaining.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Miles made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mr. Crouch; motion
passed,3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Len Ashack-Request for approval of road closure on Fulton Street from 10th Street to 8th Street
starting on Monday,April 11,2022 through Thursday,April 14,2022 for paving(all residents will
be notified;will be open to through traffic)—Mr.Ashack advised this is so they can pave Fulton
from 10th St to 8th St and it will be open to through traffic.
Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the closure seconded by Mr. Miles; motion passed, 3-0.
2. Jason Sharp-Request for approval of quote from John Jones Automotive for Fire Department for
purchase of 2016 Dodge RAM 1500—Mr.Sharp advised this is to replace a vehicle for the Fire
Department.
Mr. Miles made a motion to approve the quote,seconded by Mr.Crouch; motion passed,3-0.
3. Paul Northam-Request for approval of the following City Events Permits:-Mr. Northam advised
these events were approved at the City Events meeting on 4/5/2022 and he requested approval
from BPW.
• Claysburg Days Festival,August 5,2022-August 7, 2022
• GE Appliance KY Derby Festival MiniMarathon & Marathon,April 30,2022
• Rock on Water Festival,September 10, 2022
• NoCo Art Market,June 18,2022
• Parlour Palooza,June 11, 2022
• Jeff/GRC Little League Parade, May 21,2022
• Downtown Jeff Events by Jeff Main Street,for events starting in April through December
2022

Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the above events, seconded by Mr. Miles; motion passed, 3-
0.
ADJOURNMENT:
Wit no furth mess, Mr.Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:33 a.m.
