APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from February 23, 2022. Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed,3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mr.Crouch; motion passed, 3-0. • OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: 1. Larry Wallace—Request for approval of lawn service agreement(s) between the City and the folloing: • Marion Shepherd • Trenton Guthrie Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve lawn service agreement seconded by Mr.Crouch; motion passed, 3-0. 2. Brian Smith—Request for approval of contract between the City and Federal Field Services or annual preventative maintenance inspection for Outdoor Warning Siren— Mr.Smith advised this is an annual contract and is supported by his budget. Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the contract seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion passed, 3-0. 3. Chad Reischl—Request for approval of contract between the City and Schneider Geospatial—Mr. Reischl advised the Council approved the appropriation for this contract. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the contract seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion passed, 3-0. 4. Emily Dippie—Request for approval of road closure on Michigan Avenue between 6th Street and 7th Street on Saturday April 9,2022 from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm for Amplify the Arts event— Mrs. Dippie advised this is for their Amplify the Arts event. They are going to have a mini horse fashion show and will need space blocked off for that. They will be contained to a certain area. Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the closure seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion passed, 3-0. Page 1 of 2 5. Kenny Kavanaugh—Request for approval of Services Agreement between City Police Department and Flock Group, Inc.—Chief Kavanaugh advised for approval of this contingent upon Council Appropriation. Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve contingent upon Council appropriation with Mr. Crouch seconding; motion passed,3-0. 6. Len Ashack—Request for approval of road closure on Dove Drive from Monday,March 7,2022 through March 11,2022 for sewer replacement(will be open for local traffic)—Mr.Ashack advised this is to replace the sewer line. There will not be a detour however the road will be accessible to local traffic. Residents have been notified or will be notified prior to the start. Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the closure seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion passed,3-0. 7. Paul Northam—Request for approval of the following City Event Permits-Mr. Northam requested approval for the following event permits : • Louisville Grows Plant 5K Run&Walk on Saturday,September 17,2022—This will be from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. • Amplify the Arts on Saturday,April 9,2022—This is the event Emily discussed and will be from 10:00 am until 6:00 pm • Spring Street Festival on Saturday,April 16,2022—This is the block in front of the Red Yeti. All businesses impacted are on board and it will take place from 2:00 pm until 11:00 pm. • Back Your Blue 5K on Saturday,September 10,2022—This will take place from 6:00 am until 1:00 pm. • Shoe Sensation STARS Retreat on Tuesday, March 29, 2022—This will be from 5-10 pm. Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the event permits seconded by Mr. Crouch; motion passed, 3- 0. Mayor Moore thanked his daughter,Shelby for the shirt he was wearing. The shirt had pictures of Puddin' on it. Shelby is away at school in Ireland and he wanted to wear it so she could see it in the video. Mayor Moore said he is excited to see the events and activities coming back after being impacted by covid. Also congratulations to Jeff High basketball and he would love another string from a Sectional Championship to hang with the last one in his office. ADJOURNMENT: With n' fu - business, r.
