MINUTES
February 16,2022

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room
in City Hall.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from February 9,2022.
Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mr.Crouch; motion
passed,3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Chief Grant or Jason Sharp-Request for approval to block off corner of road in front of Fire Union
Hall on Saturday,Saturday May 14th,2022 6:00 pm until 11:00 pm for wedding reception — Mr.
Sharp advised this is for an employee to have a wedding celebration.
Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the request seconded by Mr.Crouch; motion passed, 3-0.
2. Michael O'Brien-Request for approval of proposal to replace furnace by Combs Heating and Air
Conditioning— Mr.O'Brien advised this is for a new HVAC system. Their current system will not
support cooling the building. Mr.O'Brien stated he does have the money for this in his budget.
Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the contract seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion passed, 3-0.
3. Kevin Morlan-Proposal for new truck purchase between Street Department and Heritage Ford—
Mr. Morlan advised this is for a new 1 and a half ton truck and it is in the budget.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the contract seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion passed,3-0.
Mayor Moore presented Mr. Grant Morton with the Commodore of the Port for serving
Jeffersonville for over 25 years on the.Drainage Board. Mayor Moore thanked Mr. Morton for his
dedication to the Board and to the City.
