CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room
in City Hall.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from January 26,2022.
Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; roll call vote: Mr.Crouch—aye, Mr.Waiz-aye, Mayor Moore-aye; motion
passed,3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mr. Crouch; roll call
vote: Mr.Crouch—aye, Mr.Waiz-aye, Mayor Moore-aye; motion passed,3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Chief Kavanaugh, PD-Request for approval of Uniform Conflict of Interest Forms for Mike Smith
and Aaron Olson—Chief Kavanaugh requested that these be separate motions. The first one is for
Mike Smith and his company is Jericko Media.
Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the Conflict of Interest Statement seconded by Mr.Waiz;
motion passed,3-0.
The second request is for Aaron Olson and his company is Wood You Be My Neighbor.
Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the Conflict of Interest Statement seconded by Mr.Waiz;
motion passed,3-0.
2. Les Merkley/Heather Metcalf-Request for approval of City Hall Building Lease renewal between
the Jeffersonville Building Authority and City— Mr. Merkley advised that there are no changes to
the lease from the last time it was approved,this is for one year and it will automatically renew for
3 years.
Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the lease seconded by Mr.Crouch; motion passed, 3-0.
