MINUTES
January 12,2022

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room
in City Hall. Mayor Moore advised that there has been a network crash at City Hall and some people are
having difficulty logging in to the meeting. This meeting is streamed on the City of Jeff website and in the
future if there are difficulties joining the meeting virtually the easiest way to view the meeting is on the City
Website.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from January 5, 2022.
Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve payroll, seconded by Mr.Waiz; motion
passed, 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Andy Crouch—Request for approval of TARC Memorandum of Understanding for Eastern
Boulevard Sidewalk Funding— Mr. Crouch advised this is an amendment for the current MOA to
put in sidewalks along Eastern Boulevard. They are using 90%funds from KIPTA and that he has the
funding for the rest of the match in his budget. This amendment states that the local share of the
total amount of the contract will be paid for by the City of Jeffersonville.
Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the MOU seconded by Mr. Crouch; motion passed,3-0.
2. Paul Northam—Request for approval of two(2)event permit applications as follows:
• 2022 Southern IN Pride Parade and Festival—Mrs. Ridings advised this will take place on
June 4, 2022 from 12 pm until 11 pm
• Euro District—Mrs. Ridings advised this would take place on October 8, 2022 from 11-6
Downtown on Riverside Dr.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the two event permits, Mr. Crouch seconded the motion;
motion passed, 3-0.
