ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 86-OR-54,
AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE CONTROL OF NOISE
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville
is aware that certain problems exist in the City which require
a tightening of the existing controls on excessive noise within
the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of
the City of Jeffersonville as follows:
That that portion of the "Specific Restrictions" set forth
in Ordinance No. 86-OR-54 be and hereby is amended to restrict
activity which produces excessive noise at all times between
the hours of 7:00 P.M. and 7:00 A.M., local time, rather than
the previously stated restrictions between 11:00 P.M. and
7:00 A.M. Such change shall affect subsections (A), (B), (C),
and (E) of the section of the ordinance entitled "Specific
Restrictions". Said
