John McCarthy called the meeting to order at 5:35 p.m.

Old Business:
Approve Minutes from JPAC Meeting—October 11, 2021 meeting-Denise makes motion to approve minutes as
written, seconded by Abby. Passes unanimously.
Digital Gallery—Emily Dippie
Deconstruction has happened for this project. Putting in conduit today and concrete will be poured tomorrow Once
footer is in place they will send us the screens. Redevelopment pitched in to purchase two more screens so we will have a
total of six screens.
NOCO Miracle Mile—Emily Dippie
Cheers to Emily for all of her hard work, says John. We had 177 community members that come out and
painted If you haven't been down Pearl you should go, said John. I am having an artist fill in a few spots left.
We have five spots that as your walking along with a weird gap she will come in and fill those spaces.
NAC Sub Committee Call for Participants—Emily Dippie
Committee met once, we talked about mission and experience at the NAC. Will meet again in two weeks with a
better report in December

Come down on Friday due to things going on in the local community the biennial was seen a lot and had lots of
pieces sold This event turned out even better than I thought.
New Business:
Budgeting Session for 2022—Emily Dippie.
After last month, I have looked and reviewed what we discussed about plans for next year I started and
thought, could we do it all? Which of course is not possible. I assigned numbers to each item, in total there
were 43 projects submitted probably totally somewhere.around$300,000.00. Just to put our budget into
prospective, our budget covers everything,from paying artists to buying toilet paper at the NAC. So budget we
have for 2022 is$119,000.00. I believe Sugar Skull festival is extremely important, if we have something like
this with a cultural component I think that is for sure one of the more important things. Says Susan. So tonight
we need to choose what we want to do for 2022?Asks Sarah. I say we have to have an idea of what we want to
move forward with by the December meeting. Says Emily. So,first items: Sugar Skull/Improve Theatre/Open
door project. Line item needs tabled until next month for Emily to discuss with JHS. If Sugar Skull is your first
choice then please have a second choice. -

Commissioner's Comments:
Emily—Our meeting is scheduled for December 13, 2021, so what's everyone's thoughts of doing a pot luck
dinner at the NAC? Everyone is a yes. Next meeting December 13, 2021 at 5:30 at the NAC: Emily is to send
out a google form so we have a variety of items for the evening.
With nothing further to come before the board meeting adjourned at 6:54 p.m.
