Clark Miles served on the board in place of Rob Waiz. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from.December 1, 2021. Mr. Miles seconded the motion; motion passed, 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mr. Miles; motion passed,3-0. OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: 1. Paul Northam-Request for approval of agreement between City/Parks Department and Sounds Unlimited for Riverstage equipment purchases—Mrs. Ridings stated this is from the grant that was received. This is so they will have the necessary signatures for the equipment and they will receive an invoice once it is delivered. Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the contract and Mr. Miles seconded the motion; motion passed,3-0. - 2. Len Ashack-Request for road closure on Bates-Bowyer Avenue, north of Ken Ellis Center to entrance of Census Bureau on Bates-Bowyer.Avenue from December 20,2021 at 7:00 am to December 21,2021 at 3:00 pm (for contractor, Dugan&Meyers)— Mr.Ashack advised this is part" of the Downtown Treatment Plant Improvement project. They are going to divert some storm water away from Dutch Lane into the sewer on Bates Bauer and in order to do that the contractor will have to close Bates Bauer from just north of the entrance of the Ken Ellis Center to just south of the entrance of the Census Bureau. The closure will be from December 20th at 7:00 am until December 21'at 3:00 pm. All of the residence north of there will be notified. Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the closure and Mr. Miles seconded the motion; motion passed;3-0. Mayor Moore asked if there was any further business. Mr. Merkley advised the Street Department would like to purchase a vehicle and there is an agreement with John Jones to purchase a 2022 Chevy Silverado in the amount of$51,736. Mr. Miles confirmed this is in his budget for next year. The agreement will be approved today but the purchase will take place in 2022.
