TERMS OF AGREEMENT:
The contractor chosen agrees to the following:
• Provide a set of high quality images for approval before beginning fabrication
• Sketch and Paint in the Agreed Upon Design (Contractor may choose to bring in additional help if desired,but
the contract stipend amount will not adjust based on this)
• Maintain a dialogue about the design/fabrication with the Public Art Administrator
• Release any ownership of the finished art,upon completion of the contract
• Provide the city with a W9(Public Art Administrator will email this to you ifyou do not have one readily available)
• Provide the city with an invoice for$500 for services rendered as soon as possible
• Stipend will be$500 for services rendered I The payment of$500 will be made in 1 installments after the
successful completion of the performances and activities described above.Check to be mailed to the contractor
no later than three weeks after the successful completion to be determined by the Public Art Administrator.
The city agrees to the following:
• Provide access to the Public Art Administrator during the time period of the contract
• Artistic credit in web,print,and media materials
• A plaque or online recognition in a mutually agreed upon location giving artistic credit for the work
[NDEMNIFICATION;
Contractor agrees to indemnify and hold the City of Jeffersonville and its officers,agents,and employees,harmless from
all suits,claims,or damages,including reasonable attorney's fees arising out of or resulting from activities under this
agreement conducted by Contractor or Contractor's agents.The provisions of this section shall survive the expiration or
earlier termination of this agreement.
