MINUTES
AUGUST 4, 2021

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room
in City Hall.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from July 28, 2021.
Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve payroll, seconded by Mr. Crouch; motion
passed 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
Mayor Moore made a special presentation to Allen Fetter for 50 years of service with City of Jeffersonville.
Alley at 9th and Nachand Lane will be renamed "Allen Fetter alley".
1. Les Merkley, Request for approval of Limited License Agreement between the City and Watson
Water Company to reproduce and use City Logo—Mr. Merkley stated Watson Water Company
asking for permission to use our name and logo to put on water tower at Hilton Garden Inn once it
is repainted. There will be no cost to the city.
Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the contract and Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion
passed 3-0.
2. Scott McVoy—Request for approval of contract between City of Jeffersonville Police and ZETX,
Inc. Mr. McVoy stated this contract is an upgrade for software at Jeff Police Department. Money is
in budget.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve contract and Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed
3-0.
3. Scott McVoy—Request for approval of contract between Jeffersonville Police Department and
Citizen Observer, LLC- Mr. McVoy stated this contract is an upgrade in our Tips software,will
improve our Tips software to receive tips through social media. Money is in budget.
Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve contract and Mr. Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed
3-0.

r' 4. Andy Crouch—Request for approval of road closure on Eastbrook Road beginning August 9,2021
through August 23, 2021.—Lane closure will be in back of Republic Bank and closed Southbound.
Vectren/Centerpoint is woking on main line.
Mr.Waiz made motion to approve road closure,seconded by Mr.Crouch; motion passed 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no f her business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:36 a.m.
