ORDINANCE REZONING CERTAIN PROPERTY FROM
SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENCE, TO R-2, MULTI-FAMILY RESIDENCE
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, that the Zoning Ordinance be amended
in that the property in the name of John ZurSchmiede Builders
herein described,
Family Residence,
is reclassi'fied and rezoned from R-I,
to R-2, Multi-Family Residence:
Single
Being a part of Survey No. 3 of the Illinois Grant in
Clark County, Indiana, and being part of the same property
conveyed to Richard G. Shaw and Barbara M. Shaw as
described by deed recorded in Deed Drawer 15, Instrument
No. 8558, and being 'more particularly described as
follows:
Commencing at a point in the centerline of East Eighth
Street (in Jeffersonville, Indiana) at its intersection
with the west line of sUrvey No. 3 of the Illinois Grant,
thence with the centerline of East Eighth Street in a
northeastwardly direction 600 feet to a point, thence
South 37 degrees, 21 minutes East 230.46 feet (per deed
references) to a found iron pin at the south corner of the
Angell Care Limited Partnership of Indiana property (Deed
Drawer 20, Instrument NO. 10,239), being the true point of
beginning of the tract being herein described, thence with
the line common to the Angell Care Limited Partnership of
Indiana property, North 52 degrees, 44 minutes, 48 seconds
East 117.42 feet to a point, thence South 37 degrees, 27
minutes, 56 seconds E~st 64.30 feet to a point, thence
South 52 degrees, 44 minutes, 48 seconds West 117.42 feet
to a point, thence North 37 degrees, 27 minutes, 56
seconds West 64.30 feet to the true point of beginning,
containing 0.17 acres, more or less.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its
timely passage, promulgation and approval by the Mayor.
Passed and~ adopted by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Clark CountY, Indiana, on the ~ day of

RESOLUTION
BE IT RESOLVED that on the 5th day of April, 1991, John
ZurSchmiede Builders filed a petition with the Jeffersonville
Plan Commission, Jeffersonville, Indiana, requesting a
recommendation concerning permission that the following
described real estate be changed from R-l, Single F~mily
Residence, to R-2, Multi-Family Residence, said real estate
being situated in the City of Jeffersonville, in the County of
Clark, in the State of Indiana, and described as follows,
to-wit:
Being a part of Survey No. 3 of the Illinois Grant in
Clark County, Indiana, and being part of the same property
conveyed to Richard G. Shaw and Barbara M. Shaw as
described by deed recorded in Deed Drawer 15, Instrument
No. 8558, and being more particularly described as
follows:

seconds West 64.30 feet to the true point of beginning,
containing 0.17 acres, more or less.
It being shown to the Commission that said petition was
set for hearing and notice by publication as required by law,
having been heretofore given, and after hearing evidence, the
Jeffersonville Plan Commission hereby makes no recommendation
to the City Council that the above designated real estate be
changed from R-I, Single Family Residence, to R-2, Multi-Family
Residence, and that the Secretary~ certify a copy of this
Resolution and deliver same to the Clerk-Treasurer of the City
of Jeffersonvitle, Indiana, and further that the Common Council
of the City of Jeffersonville is hereby requested to give their
due consideration to said request without recommendation
herein.
I hereby certify that this is a true and accurate copy
of the resolution unanimously adopted by the Jeffersonville
Plan Commission on April 30, 1991.
