Manager of Occupational Safety and Risk Management, Emily Dippie Public Arts Admin, Lisa Gill City Clerk and Patsy Kiser Deputy Clerk CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room in City Hall. APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve the minutes from July 21, 2021. Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve payroll, seconded by Mr. Crouch; motion passed 3-0. OLD BUSINESS: None NEW BUSINESS: 1. Chad Reischl- Request for approval of contract between the City and Fall City Community Bike Works Mr. Reischl stated he is requesting approval between the City and Fall City Community Bike Works. This contract is for routine maintenance on the City's 12 fix it stations located throughout the City. One of the downtown stations just moved locations and is now located at where Allison Lane meets Utica Pike.This money is in their maintenance budget. Mr. Waiz made a motion to approve the contract and Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. 2. Andy Crouch-Request for approval of Menard's Drainage Easement Release—Mr. Crouch stated there is a regional basin that is located next to Menards that serves the public properties next to that area. Menards is looking to expand their entrance and exit gate into the rear of the property. This will not affect any of the drainage itself. They are going to purchase the property but want to make sure they are not putting any of those improvements on the easement. Mr. Crouch stated he has looked at this and has no issues with it. Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the drainage easement release and Mr.Crouch seconded the • - motion; motion passed 3-0. Mrs. O'Neil stated she had received a list of road closure requests for JNLA for the National Night Out. There are 8 neighborhoods participating this year and it will take place from 6:30-8:30 pm. Mr. Merkley the following closures are needed: Page 1 of 2 • Franklin Commons-300 block of Locust between Maple and Chestnut • Raintree Ridge—Buckhorn between Sweet Gum and Silver Palm • Whispering Oaks II—21st Century Dr. between Whispering Oaks and John Wayne • Stonybrook—Stoneybrook Court at Kerry.Ann Way • Claysburg—Colston Park between Thomas V Bryant both ends by the park. Mr. Moreland said they would drop off the barricades. Chief Kavanaugh said that he has spoken with them on these closures.
