CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room
in City Hall. .
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve the minutes from June 30,2021. Mr..
Crouch seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0. .
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Crouch made the motion to approve payroll, seconded by Mr.Andy; motion
passed 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Paul Northam-Request for 2 City Events permits as follows:Mr. Northam stated that the Events
Planning Event met yesterday and they are requesting approval for two events.
• Vintage Fire Museum Parade on Saturday,September 25,2021—Mr. Northam stated this
is at Fisherman's Wharf and is the exact same'as last year: _
• 911 Memorial on Sunday,September 12,2021—Mr. Northam stated the Fire Museum
puts this on every year and it is scheduled for 9/12/2021 starting at 4:00 pm.
Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the permits and Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion
passed 3-0.. -
2. Scott McVoy-Request for approval of Police Retirement Benefit Policy—Assistant Chief McVoy
stated this is an update regarding the Police's Retirement Benefit. A copy of the update will be
provided to the Clerk's Office upon approval.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve policy and Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed 3-
O.
