MINUTES
June 2,2021

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m. in the Mayor's Conference Room
in City Hall.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Crouch made the motion to approve the minutes from May 26, 2021.
Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion passed 3-0.
APPROVAL OF PAYROLL: Mr.Waiz made the motion to approve payroll,seconded by Mr. Crouch; motion
passed 3-0. 1
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Paul Northam-Request for approval of two(2)City Events Permit Applications for Mimarket and
NoCo Mural Mile—Emily Dippie stated these are Public Arts events,the NoCo Mural Mile is a
sidewalk painting event. The Mimarket is an art market that will happen on Michigan Avenue with
35 art vendors and will have 4 food trucks there as well.
Mr.Crouch made a motion to approve the request and Mr.Waiz seconded the motion; motion
passed 3-0.
2. Andy Crouch-Request for approval of a No Parking on Spring Street between Maple Street and
Riverside Drive on Fridays between the hours of 5:00 pm to midnight from June 4,2021 through
August 7,2021—Mr.Crouch stated we will be closing Spring Street this Friday night between the
hours of 5:00 pm and midnight and would like to put up signs to do so. These will be taken down in
• August.
Mr. Crouch made a motion to approve the report and Mr. Miles seconded the motion. Roll call
vote: Mr.Crouch—yes; Mr. Miles—yes; Mayor Moore—yes; motion passed 3-0.
3. Andy Crouch for Louisville Paving-Request for approval of road closure at,9th Street and Meigs
Avenue on June 12,2021 all day—Louisville paving already has this closed and needs to keep it
closed through the 12th. The closure is on 8th and the detour route is to 9th Street.
Mr. Waiz made a motion to approve road closure and Mr. Crouch seconded the motion; motion
passed 3-0.

4. Andy Crouch Louisville Paving-Request for approval of road closure at Ewing Lane and Perrin Lane
extended through June 18,2021—Louisville Paving already has this closed and needs to extend it.
until June 18th, 2021.
Mr.Waiz made a motion.to approve the road closure and Mr.Crouch seconded the motion; motion
passed 3-0.
5. Andy Crouch-Request for approval of road closure.on Eastern Blvd at the Underpass on June 4,
2021 for paving-Mr.Crouch stated we are paving this on Thursday with a rain date of Friday if
needed. He is requesting a closure for these days and have worked out a closure plan. It will be
one day of paving. .
Mr.Waiz made a motion to approve the road closure and Mr.Crouch seconded the motion; motion
passed 3-0. .
ADJOURNMENT: -
Mayor Moore stated there is a big event starting on Friday,Summer on Spring. We will be shutting
down Spring Street for traffic all through the summer on Friday nights. The Louisville Crashers will
be in town this Friday they go on at 8:30 but we will be shutting down those few blocks from 6 pm
until 11 pm so nobody park down there and everyone come out and have a good time.
With no further business, Mr. Crouch made a motion to adjourn at 9:36°a.m. Mayor Moore stated
it was goo to see everyone in person.
