ORDINANCE NO. 92-0R-,,$ 7
WHEREAS, the citizens of Jef~ersonville have the desire and right to use the
Riverfront Park area located near and aIpng Riverside Drive in the City of Jeffersonville;
and
WHEREAS, previously, members of the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville has restricted parking in that area for persons who do not lease boat dock
space form the City; and
WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville has approved a
lease for a floating restaurant, the success of which depends upon the general public
having access to park in and around the:; Riverfront Park area.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL. OF
THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE that any sections of any ordinances which restrict
parking in and around the Riverfront Park area to those persons who have rented a boat
dock space from the City of Jeffersonville, should be, and hereby are repealed.
Passed and adopted by the Common Council of City of Jeffersonville, Clark
