AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE GENERAL
FUND TO BORROW FUNDS FROM THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE SEW AGE
FUND
WHEREAS, an emergency now exists ad it has become necessary for the city of
Jeffersonville General Fund to borrow money from the City of Jeffersonville Sewage Fund
in anticipation of taxes levied and to be collected during the current year;
WHEREAS, there is now within the Sewage Fund sufficient moneys to allow this
loan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of
Jeffersonville, Indiana, that a one-time temporary loan from the City Of Jeffersonville
Sewage Fund to the City Of Jeffersonville General fund b:;Wroved in an amount not to
exceed $ J; ~'),!1, ~A P and that said loan not exceed months in. duration.
This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and
approval.
