Northam-Parks Fee Schedule-We have made some changes with the inclusion of the Envision Center, we have changed the Nachand Fieldhouse for$90.00 for the whole place with a 2 hour minimum and second we changed programs. We removed it because we aren't having the kids program at Nachand anymore. And then we added the Envision Center rentals and kids program there. Member Munzer a MOTION to approve the new Parks Fee Schedule, the motion was seconded by Member Kornberg. The motion was PASSED on a vote of 6-0. Northam-Swim Team Timing Equipment-We are needing to replace the touch pads and the master timing device for$8,500.00 and they are asking for a contribution from the Parks department. We let PACE use the facility for free and bring in staff while they are using the facility so we are saying that there is a give and take there so I'm asking that we give them $3,000.00 toward the equipment. There was discussion on what amount should be given as PACE has the most benefit from the equipment that is mainly used by them and the fact that the Parks department is giving them a lot already with staff and free rental. Member Ellis stated that since we are already providing the manpower and we are already on a tight budget why do we need to give them any money for the equipment at all. Member Ellis made a MOTION to approve not giving PACE a donation on the Timing and Touch Pad Equipment, the motion was seconded by Member Kornberg. The motion was PASSED on a vote of 6-0 Northam-2018 Ventrac-we are needing a new Ventrac, we have three quotes$9650.00 from Reynolds Golf and Turf,John Deere JW Turf for$10,026.00 and ORB Turf for$10,085.00. Director's Report Sara-We've had a great closing this year and the twilight cinema we great as well. We are adding a silent disco where you can enter and select a set of headphones and choose what you listen to. Tim-We haven't talked yet about Chapel Lake, it's about 5 acres and it 110 acres of grass. We aren't sure yet how much we will need to mow as of yet but it's something that we will need to keep in mind. Olivia-This is the last weekend at the pool and then we will have the pooch plunge before we close the pool for the season. We have bingo at Ken Ellis next Tuesday and we are looking for a Big Wig if anyone is free. Donnie-We have to do some trail work at Allison Brook and we are going to cut out a pond area for meditation that will be great when it's done. We are also working on the terrace lawn and when the Riverstage season is done we will start to close things down. Amber-The Envision Center is open and doing great, we have pickle ball and the after school program going currently. We are being trained in September so that we can start helping them with a curriculum after school. We are also looking into classes that we can do during the day with toddlers and parents. We are also starting the rentals, we already have three scheduled. Director Northam- Ricki has a game tonight but teams are going great. We are doing a three on three basketball tournament with CASI at the Envision Center on September 28th at 11am. We just had the farm to table dinner again and we had a great response from the event again. We always sell out within two days of the announcement so if you want to get a ticket do it quickly. We have the Home of Champions this weekend if anyone has time to come out and support the event. The surface at Bob Hedge is complete and getting a lot of great response. Veterans We are new residence of Crystal Springs and we are dog lovers so we are wanting to see if there is an opportunity to have a dog park in Chapel Lake since it is still under construction. We go to the other dog park at Highland but it's quite a drive for us and it's usually isolated there and with having a small child it would be nice to have a closer dog park. Director Northam stated that there had been a plan for a dog park at Vissing but in the end we decided against it but we have been looking for a spot in that part of town for a dog park. But that he would speak to the Mayor about the possibility of one in that area.
