HomeMy WebLinkAbout2019-OR-34 2019-OR- ' AN ORDINANCE AMENDING 2017-OR-49, AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING DEPARTMENTAL PETTY CASH AND/OR CASH CHANGE FUND. WHEREAS, Petty Cash Funds/Cash Change Funds currently exist within many City Departments in the City of Jeffersonville; WHEREAS, the Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville has the authority under Indiana Law to establish a Petty Cash and/or Cash Chang Fund pursuant to I.C. 36-1-8-3; WHEREAS, it has become necessary to change, terminate and/or establish the amount of each City Department's Petty Cash and/or Cash Change Fund; WHEREAS, the Common Council, having been duly advised, believes the following Petty Cash and/or Cash Change Funds shall be established in the following amounts with the listed personnel positions to be responsible for its accounting as prescribed by I.C. 36-1-8-3: CASH CHANGE FUNDS: DEPARTMENT SUPERVISING PERSONNEL AMOUNT Wastewater Billing Utility Billing Office Clerk $100.00 Wastewater Billing Utility Billing Office Clerk $100.00 Wastewater Billing Utility Billing Office Clerk $100.00 Building Commissioner Building Permits Clerk $300.00 Planning & Zoning Administrative Assistant I $50.00 Animal Shelter Director $40.00 Parks Aquatic Center Manager: Recreation Programs and Aquatics $650.00 Parks Field House Supervisor: Field House & League Activity $30.00 Parks Ken Ellis Center Manager: Recreation Programs and Aquatics $30.00 Parks Envision Center Assistant Director $30.00 City Clerk Ordinance Violation Clerk $125.00 City Clerk Traffic Bureau Clerk $200.00 Police Administrative Assistant 1 $ 50.00 Police Administrative Assistant 1 $ 50.00 Police Administrative Assistant 1 $ 50.00 1 2019-OR . PETTY CASH FUNDS: DEPARTMENT SUPERVISING PERSONNEL AMOUNT Wastewater Billing Office Manger $100.00 Wastewater/Admin Executive Assistant $100.00 Drainage Administrative Assistant II $100.00 Parks Aquatic Center Manager: Recreation Programs and Aquatics $150.00 Parks Field House Supervisor: Field House & League Activity $ 60.00 Parks Main Office Administrative Assistant II $75.00 Streets and Sanitation Administrative Assistant II $200.00 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any previously established Petty Cash Funds and/or Cash Change Funds are hereby dissolved and terminated, and the above described Petty Cash Funds and/or Cash Change Funds shall remain in existence until an Ordinance terminates them and upon such termination the fund balances remaining shall revert to the appropriate funds. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval of the Mayor.
