MINUTES
May 14, 2019
Larry Wallace, Jeffersonville Building Commissioner called the regular meeting of the Jeffersonville
Building Authority to order on May14, 2019, at 9:00 a.m. in the Building Commissioner's Conference
Room on the second floor in Jeffersonville City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court. Members present were
Richard Eklund, Bill Fry, and Larry Wallace. Members absent Mayor Mike Moore and Don Sperzel. Also
present Administrative Assistant Mary Frey.
MINUTES
Bill Fry made a motion to accept the April 9, 2019 minutes as written, seconded by Richard Eklund and
approved unanimously.
EXPENDITURE REPORT
Richard Eklund made a motion to approve the revenue and expenditure report for April 2019 as
presented, seconded by Bill Fry and approved unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
Larry Wallace stated no old business.
NEW BUSINESS
Larry Wallace stated that he is requesting quotes for repair of the stairwells were the brick is wicking. The
pricing includes scaffolding for the job to be completed. Bill Fry recommended getting quotes for work
pads for a telescoping lift. Larry Wallace will continue getting quotes.
Larry Wallace stated that he is working with Perfection Group on replacing the air handling unit above
the Council Chambers on first floor of City Hall. Bill Fry recommended on checking to make sure unit is
a conference area unit. Conference area unit should be quieter when operating.
With no further discussion Richard Eklund made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Bill Fry and approved
unanimously.
