OF /fiFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA CONSENTING TO THE
ISSUANCE BY THE TOWN OF'SELLERSBURG, INDIANA OF
ECONOMIC D, EVELOPMEN~I REVENUE BONDS FOR THE
YMCA OF SOUTHERN INDIANA.
WHEREAS, the YMCA. z. ,, of Southern Indiana (the YMCA "5'~t i~..~.order to ~ahance its
facilities in the City 0f Jeffe~s6n~ille, Indiana, proposes ,t9 ~Ciiu{i~, install and equip an
approximately 28,000 square fool addition and renovate the existing 26,500 square foot facility to
be used for education, recreaff6~i, fit~iess and other related activities located'Et 4812 Hamburg Pike,
Jeffersonville, Indiana 471}0}~ (collectively, the "Improvements") in ah"amoum no* ~o exceed
$5 100 000;
WHEREAS, fl~e YMCA. has requested tl%at the Town 0fSFllersb.urg (the Town ) ~ssue
development.revenue bonds pursuant }o Indmi~ Cod~' Sectioii3';)27-11 9 and 12 et seq.

NOW, TH]EREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF JEFFERSONVILLE, AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The recitations set out in ti~e foregoing preamble are adopted and incorporated
as a part of this Resolution. Terms defined in the foregoing preamble have the same meaning when
used herein.
Section 2. Pursu..a~ti[.o,' the provisions of Indiana Code Section, ?~:77-12-22, the Commou
Council of the City of Jeffersonville hereby consents to the Town to proceed with the issuance of
economic development bonds for the benefit of the YMCA in order t0 finance the costs of the

Section 3. The ad0plion of this Resolution and any other action taken by the City of
Jeffersonville in connection ~!~t~ the described f~ancing of the ~r0ject s.h,~,~lot be d,~cmaed to, and
shall not, impose any financi.~ liability or responsibility whatsoever upon, the City of Jeffersonville.
Section 4. This Resolution shall be in full force and effect f~m and afte:r its adoption
as provided by law
