October 9, 2018
Larry Wallace, Jeffersonville Building Commissioner called the regular meeting of the Jeffersonville Building
Authority to order on October 9, 2018 at 9:03 a.m. in the Building Commissioner's Conference Room on the
second floor in Jeffersonville City Hall, 500 Quartermaster Court. Members present were Bill Fry, Brandon
Westerfield, Donald Sperzel and Mayor Mike Moore. Members absent: None. Also present Permit Clerk Linda
Mills.
MINUTES
Mayor Mike Moore made a motion to accept the September 11, 2018 minutes as written, seconded by Brandon
Westerfield. Motion approved unanimously.
EXPENDITURE REPORT
Mayor Mike Moore made a motion to approve the revenue and expenditure report for September 2018 as
presented, seconded by Donald Sperzel. Motion approved unanimously.
OLD BUSINESS
NEW BUSINESS
Larry Wallace stated that Chris who used to work for Alpha Energy has left and is now with Perfections and he
would like the Board to consider moving the HVAC contract from Alpha Energy to Perfection. Larry Wallace
stated that Perfections is a big company and we can have a contract for$36,000.00 per year which includes filter
changes,if a compressor goes out. This is a set price and does not matter what happens.Mayor Mike Moore stated
that it sound good, no surprises. Brandon Westerfield stated that the likes the set amount. Larry Wallace stated
that this would start at the first of the year. Bill Fry made a motion to accept the bid, seconded by Donald Sperzel.
Motion passed unanimously.
Larry Wallace stated that we have issues with windows leaking from the top. They need to be caulked. Marr
Company submitted a bid to caulk only the top of the windows and the bid is not to exceed $7,500. Mayor Mike
Moore made a motion to accept the bid, seconded by Bill Fry. Motion passed unanimously.
With no further discussion Mayor Mike Moore made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Bill Fry. Motion passed.
