promotion is effective October 16th, of 2018.
At this time, I have an email in writing indicating Sgt. Brian Mitchell is forgoing the promotion, declining
the promotional assignment to the Uniformed Patrol Division, remaining a School Resource Officer as a
Sergeant.
Both of the officers names submitted for promotion are from the active maintained promotional list
within each respective rank. Therefore, I am officially requesting the names for promotion from the
Jeffersonville Police Merit Commission per the statue.
Effective today date, the Lieutenant promotional list officially is depleted of names and the Captain's list
is similarly depleted of names on October 16th, 2018.
