MINUTES
November 21, 2018
MEMBERS PRESENT: Rob Waiz, Redevelopment Director, Len Ashack, Dir of Waste Water, Paul McGhee,
Supervisor Street Dept, Larry Wallace, Building Commission, Matt Dyer, IT Director, Sarah Green, Dir
Animal Shelter, Yvonne Dowd, Asst Controller, Nathan Pruitt, Planning and Zoning Director, Paul Northam, Park
Director, DeLynn Rutherford, Grant Administrator, Bill Dixon, Asst City Engineer, Scott McVoy, Asst Chief JPD, Les
Merkley, Corporate Counsel, Kim Calabro, HR Director
CALL TO ORDER:
Mr. Waiz called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:
Mr. Dixon made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from November 14, 2018, seconded by
Mr. Northam, and motion PASSED 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL:
Mr. Dixon made the motion to APPROVE the payroll, seconded by Mr. Northam, and
motion PASSED 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
None
NEW BUSINESS:
Sara Simpson—Request for approval of street closures for Light Up Jeff/Holiday Lights Parade
on Saturday,November 24, 2018
Paul Northam indicated that they have talked with Police and Street departments (barricades)
regarding the Parade down Spring Street and Holiday Light-up at Warder Park. See attached for specific
streets. Mr. Dixon made the motion to approve street closures, seconded by Mr. Northam and motion
passes 3-0.
