MINUTES
October 10, 2018

CALL TO ORDER:
Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 a.m.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES:
Mr. Waiz made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from the October 3, 2018 meeting,
seconded by Ms. Huffman, motion PASSED 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL:
Mr. Waiz made the motion to APPROVE the payroll, seconded by Mr. Huffman, and motion
PASSED 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Nathan Pruitt—request for approval of Amended Bike Share Program Agreement between the
City and CycleHop LLC (tabled from 10/3/2018).
Mr. Pruitt presented the contract for CycleHop. CycleHop requested a correction to the previous
maintenance contract from August; the effective date for the contract should be October 1—not August
1. Motion made by Mr. Waiz, seconded by Ms. Huffman and motion carries 3-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
Clark Miles for Street Department—Bid Opening for awarding of bid for a Rear Load Refuse
Body Garbage Packer.
Mayor Moore requested Ms. Hardaway to open the bids for the new packer in Mr. Merkley's
absence. Ms. Hardaway stated that there were only two bids. The one from Peterbilt of Louisville was
$176,285; Best Equipment submitted a primary bid of$166,007.80, alternate #1 $161,611.80 and
alternate#2 $169,602.48. A motion was made by Mr. Waiz to take the bids under advisement for
review of specification, seconded by Ms. Huffman, and motion carried 3-0.
Andy Crouch-request for approval of 17108 Change Order 2 in the New Chapel Sidewalk Phase II
project with TSI Construction Inc.

Mr. Crouch stated this change order is at the request of IDEM to remove some sod. Change will
reduce the price $1,318.75. Mr. Waiz made the motion to approve the change order; Ms. Huffman
seconded the motion and motion passes 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further business, motion was made to ADJOUR at :: '5 a.m. $
