OF THE CITY OF JEFFERSONVILLE, INDIANA
DECEMBER 19, 2002
The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville met in special session in the Mayor's
Conference Room in the City County Building, jeit'ersonville, Indiana at 12:00 noon on
December 19, 2002.
Council President Denny Frantz called the meeting to order, with Deputy Clerk Lynne
Mayfield and Clerk Treasurer Peggy Wilder at the desk.
Clerk Treasurer Wilder presented a claim t~or the City Attorney office to pay a credit card
bill in the amount of $848.68. ' ' ' '
Counc ~pe~son ~ a z made the motion to approve payment
of the bill_ seconded by Councilperson Conlin and carried nnanimously.
Ordinance No. 2002-OR-51 An Ordinm~ce amending Ordinance 2001-OR-25, Fixing
Basic Salaries of Appointed Officers and Employees of the City of Jeffersonville, Indiana
for the year 2003. Councilperson Conlin made the motion to pass the ordinance on the
third reading, and seconded by Councilperson Merkley Councilperson Grooms made the
motion to amend Ordinance No. 2002-OR-51 pt~ttiug the positions back in with the
exception of the Sewer Inspector position and a $1,200 00 maximum cap on raises,
seconded by Councilperson Waiz and carried unanimously
There being no further business to come before the Council, Cohncilperson Frantz made
the motion to adjourn at i2:10 pm, seconded by Counciiperson Merkley, passing
unanimously.
