The Common Council of the City of Ieffersonville met in Workshop session in
the Mayor's Conference Room in the City County Building, Jeffersonville,
Indiana on the l0th day of Februaxy 2003.
Council President Rob Waiz, with Clerk Treasurer Peggy Wilder at the desk,
called the meeting to order at 5:30 PM. Other Councilpersons present were
Barbara Wilson, Les Merkley, Ron Ellis, and Denny Framz.
Clerk Treasurer Wilder presented a claim from the Southern Seven Workforce
Investment G-romp in the mount of $7,942.89 for discussion.
Information regarding fixed asset services was also discussed. Clerk Treasurer Wilder
distributed information from T.M. Wells Valuation Services and informed council
members that a representative of the company would be at the Board of Public Works
me~ting on Tuesday, February 18, 2003.
Council m6mbers then discussed the Department of Local Government (DLG) Budget
'Program Certificate of Appropriations for Year Ended 2003. Clerk Treasurer Wilder told
the Council that the budget had been tentatively approved, but reminded the Council that
because ofreassessmem it would be some time before the numbers were finalized by he
state. In an effort to comply with the cuts by the DLG, a unanimous consensus was
reached to make the following budgetary changes:

Counciiperson Ellis then addressed Mayor Galligan concerning the bill from the Southern
Seven Workforce Group. Mayor Galligan explained that the bill was from the Hoosier
Valley judgmem.
