REGULAR MEETING
MAY 16, 2018
The Jeffersonville Police Merit Commission meeting was called to order on May 16, 2018 at 5:00
P.M. in the City Council's Chambers, First Floor, 500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana.
President Jeremy Snelling called the meeting to order with the following in attendance: President
Jeremy Snelling, Vice-President Robert Campbell, Bonnie Deppert, Scott Aldridge, Buddy Parker,
Attorney Robert Bottorff and Patty Rush.
Invocation was given by Robert Campbell
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
Mr. Campbell made a recommendation and motion that the minutes from April 10, 2018 be
tabled due to some corrections until our next meeting. The motion was seconded by Mr. Parker.
Voted 5-0
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Attorney Bottorff had a three way call with Attorney Larry Wilder and Attorney Andrew Duncan
to schedule a hearing date Patrolman Kenton Makowsky. Attorney Bottorff will schedule an order for
hearing to be scheduled on August 2, 2018 at 5:00 P.M. in the City Council's Chambers.
PUBLIC COMMENT: None
CLAIMS:
President Snelling presented a claim from Secretary Patty Rush, Invoice#2018-05 in the amount
of$100.00. Mr. Parker made a motion to approve the claim in the amount of$100.00 and seconded by
Mr. Campbell. Voted 5-0
President Snelling presented a claim from Public Safety Medical, Invoice 00-32675 in the amount
of$3,255.15 for Emmalee A. Scaff,James R. Wilcoxson and Christopher K. Buckner. Mr. Parker made a
motion to approve the claim in the amount of$3,255.15 and seconded by Mr. Campbell. Voted 5-0
ADJOURN:
Mr. Parker made a motion to adjourn the me ting at 5:55 P.M. and seconded by Mr. Campbell.
Our next meeting will be held on June 12, 2018 at 5 P.M.
