CALL TO ORDER: Mr. Moore called the meeting to order at 9:31 a.m.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Hedrick made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from the
April 4, 2018 meeting, seconded by Mr. Waiz, PASSING on a vote 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Mr. Hedrick made the motion to APPROVE the payroll, seconded by
Mr. Waiz, PASSING on a vote of 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:

NEW BUSINESS:
None
ADDITIONAL NEW BUSINESS:
Mr. Northam requested approval of several city events that were approved by the City Events Board
—police and fire both have been notified of the dates.
April 14- Euro District Car Show at the Big 4
May 12 - Ross Brothers Car Show (rescheduled because of snow) at Ross Brothers
May 12 — Relay for Life at Big 4
May 18—Shakespeare in the Park at Big 4
May 19—22 Challenge 10K Ruck March on Riverside Drive
June 30—Jeff Pride Parade on Spring Street to Warder Park

August 4—Claysburg Days Parade on 11th & Wall Str.
September 22—5K Fido Walk on Riverside Drive
October 27 - Sugar Skull Shake Shake at the Big 4
Mr. Hedrick made the motion to approve, second by Mr. Waiz, PASSING 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
With no further action for the Board of Public Works, Mr. Hedrick made the motion to ADJOURN,
seconded by Mr. Waiz. Meeting adjourned at 9:36 a.m.
