REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
MARCH 14,2018
The Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission held a Special Meeting on March 14,2018,that was called
to order at 5:00 PM in the Mayor's Conference Room, located at 500 Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville,
Indiana.
Board Members present: Monty Snelling, Mayor Mike Moore,Jack Vissing and Matt Owen
Board Members absent: Scott Hawkins and GCCS Board Representative Milton Clayton
Staff Members present: Redevelopment Commission Attorney Les Merkley,
Redevelopment Administrative Assistant Theresa Treadway and CMMS
Administrator/Secretary Cindy Seifert
Guests present: Mike Hutt
CALL TO ORDER
Mr. Snelling called the meeting to order at 5:00 PM.
BUSINESS
Resolution accepting Real Estate at Colston Park
Les Merkley explained that after 7 months of court proceedings, the Judge is prepared to sign a quiet title
to the City of Jeffersonville for the property known as Colston Park. Two resolutions are necessary for the
property to be accepted by the Redevelopment Commission from the City of Jeffersonville.
Mr. Owen made a motion to approve 2018-R-3, a Resolution Accepting Parcels of Real Estate by Deed to
Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission(Real Estate located in Block 13, Lots 108, 139 and 140 of the
City of Jeffersonville Commonly Identified as Colston Park or Playsquare Park), with Mr. Vissing
seconding the motion,passing unanimously on a vote of 5-0.
Mr. Owen made a motion to approve 2018-R-4, a Resolution Accepting Parcels of Real Estate by Deed to
Jeffersonville Redevelopment Commission(Real Estate located in Block 13 in the City of Jeffersonville
Commonly Identified as Colston Park or Playsquare Park),with Mr.Vissing seconding the motion,passing
unanimously on a vote of 5-0.
ADJOURNMENT
Mr.Owen made a motion to adjourn at 5:03 PM, with Mr. Vissing seconding the motion.
