CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr. Owen made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from the August 23,
2017 meeting, seconded by Mr. Waiz passing on a vote of 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Mr. Owen made the motion to APPROVE the payroll, seconded by Mr.
Waiz passing on a vote of 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
NONE
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Jason Jackson—Request for approval of road closure of Gumtree Road and Raintree to Buckmore for
Raintree Ridge Neighborhood Party on Sept 9, 2017 from 4:00pm to 12:00 AM. Chief Kavanaugh
presented the request for Jason Jackson with the request for barricades. Mr. Owen made the motion to
APPROVE, seconded by Mr. Waiz passing on a vote of 3-0.
2. Larry Wallace—Request for Approval of Conflict of Interest Disclosure Statement for Jason Vangilder.
Mr. Wallace presented the request, Mr. Merkley request a motion to Accept. Mr. Owen made the
motion to ACCEPT, seconded by Mr. Waiz passing on a vote of 3-0.
3. Clark Miles—Discussion of No Parking on Gordon Gutmann Blvd. Mr. Miles presented the request
from Clark Memorial Hospital and painting of Yellow on the Curbs.
4. Paul Northam—Request for approval of street closure for Farm to Table event to be held on
Saturday, September 2 from 7AM to Sunday, September 3, 2017 on Chestnut Street and Spring to Wall
Street for ten set up. Mr. Northam announced that Steamboat Nights has been cancelled and the Farm
to Table event will be held at 300 Spring. Mr. Northam requested approval for street closure for Tents
to be set up for event. Mr. Waiz made the motion to APPROVE, seconded by Mr. Owen passing on a
vote of 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT:
No further business from the Board, Mr. Waiz made a motion to ADJOURN, Seco ded by r. Owen.
