CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Matt Owen made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from the August 16, 2017
meeting,seconded by Rob Waiz, passing on a vote of 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Matt Owen made the motion to APPROVE payroll,seconded by Rob Waiz, passing
on a vote of 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
Les Merkley—Request for approval of resolution amending resolution 2017-R-2 to correct errors. Motion made by
Matt Owen to approve request,seconded by Rob Waiz, passing on a vote of 3-0.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Mayor Moore—Recognition of the Police and Fire Department participants in the World Police and Fire games
in California: Jeff Fire Dept: Amy Wolfe and Josh Stith; Jeff Police Dept: Drew Lydon.
2. Les Merkley—Request for approval of road closure on Walnut Street from Maple to Chestnut on September 29,
2017. Matt Owen made motion to approve pending time information, seconded by Rob Waiz, passing on a vote of
3-0.
3. Scott McVoy—Request for approval of contract between Jeffersonville Police Department and M & M Office
products for printers and copiers. Contract will save$206.00 monthly and is a 39 month lease. Matt Owen made
motion to approve request, seconded by Rob Waiz, passing on a vote of 3-0.
4. Andy Crouch—Request for approval of road closure for infrastructure systems on Graham Street on Monday,
August 28th from 8:00 a.m.—6:00 p.m. This item was tabled to next meeting on August 30, 2017 for Andy Crouch
to be able to get a little more information.
ADJOURNMENT: No further business of the BPW meeting adjourned at 9:35 A.M.
