OF JEFFERSONVILLE~ INDIANA
AUGUST ~8~ 1989
The Common Council of the City of Jeffersonville met in
special session in the City-County Building in the Mayor's Conference
Room~ Jeffersonville~ Indiana, at 7:30 P.M. on the RSth day of August,
1989.
The meeting was called to order by Council President Harrod
presiding in the absence of Mayor Dale Orem~ and Clerk and Treasurer
C. Richard Spencer Jr. at the desk.
The roll was called and those present were Councilmen
Carter~ Caldwell, Harrod~ Perkins~ Waiz~ and Williams.
Absent: Councilman Grooms.
Ordinance No. 89-0R-50 A (General Fund), B (Parks
Recreation), C (City-County Building Rent), D (Sanitation), E (Fire
Pension)~ F (Police Pension), G (Parking Meter)~ H (Motor Vehicle), I
(City Court Adult Probation)~ J (Cumulative Capital Development), K
(Local Roads and Streets)~ and L (Redevelopment)~ Ordinances for
Appropriations and Tax Rates for 1990 were presented to the Council
for consideration of passage on the third and final reading.
Following discussion~ Councilman Waiz made the motion to pass
Ordinances 89-0R-50 Ay B, C, D, E~ F~ G, H, I, J, and K on the third
reading, seconded by Council President Harrod~ passing with the
following roll call vote:
Ayes: Councilmen Waiz~
and Williams.
Nays: None.
Councilman Perkins made

discussed. Council President Harrod made the motion to pass
Resolution No. 89--IR-81, seconded by Councilman Waiz, passing with a
unanimous vote~
