REGULAR MEETING
MARCH 14, 2017
The Jeffersonville Merit Commission was called to order by President Robert Campbell on March
14, 2017 at 5:00 P.M. The meeting was held in the City Council Chambers, First Floor, 500
Quartermaster Court,Jeffersonville, Indiana. The following members were present: President Robert
Campbell,Vice-President Jeremy Snelling, Bonnie Deppert, Scott Aldridge and Attorney Robert Bottorff.
Absent were James Reagan and Stenographer Patty Rush.
INVOCIATION:
APPROVAL OF MINUTES:
President Campbell presented the minutes from our Regular Meeting held on February 14,
2017, asking if there were any additions or corrections. Mr. Snelling made motion to approve the
minutes as presented and seconded by Ms. Deppert. Voted 4-0
President Campbell presented the minutes from our Special Meeting held on February 22, 2017,
asking if there were any additions or corrections. Mr.Snelling made motion to approve the minutes as
presented and seconded by Ms. Deppert. Voted 4-0
OLD BUSINESS: None
NEW BUSINESS:
Assistant Chief Michael McVoy sent an e-mail to each member advising that Andrew J. Frazee,
Number 13 on the established applicant eligibility list had declined the offer extended to him from the
Jeffersonville Police Department for employment. Daniel t. Karr and Rebecca M. Moses have accepted
the tentative offer.
CLAIMS:
President Campbell presented a claim from Bob Bottorff Law PC, Invoice#00114 in the amount
of$1,044.30. This claim would include the months of February and March. Mr.Snelling made motion
to approve the claim in the amount of$1,044.30 and seconded by Ms. Deppert. Voted 4-0
ADJOURNMENT:
Mr. Snelling made motion to adjourn the meetin at 5:45 P.M. and seconded by Ms. Deppert.
Our next meeting will be held on April 11, 2017 at 5. 0 P.M.
