BOARD OF PUBLIC WORKS MINUTES
March 8, 2017

CALL TO ORDER: Mayor Moore called the meeting to order at 9:30 A.M.
APPROVAL OF THE MINUTES: Mr.Owen made the motion to APPROVE the minutes from the March 1, 2017
meeting,seconded by Mr.Waiz, passing on a vote of 3-0.
APPROVAL OF THE PAYROLL: Mr.Owen made the motion to APPROVE payroll, seconded by Mr. Waiz, passing on
a vote of 3-0.
OLD BUSINESS:
No old business to come before the board.
NEW BUSINESS:
1. Rob Philpott,Vectren Energy—Request for road closure at Plank Rd. and 10th Street due to 101h Street
widening Project. The closure is due to relocation of the main. Requested dates of closure is Monday, March
13,2017 thru Wednesday, March 15, 2017. Mr.Waiz made the motion to APPROVE the closure,seconded by
Mr. Owen, passing on a vote of 3-0.
2. Paul Northern—Request for closure of docks at Fisherman's Wharf,September 15—September 17, 2017 for
Flor De La Regatta (Sailboat Race). All monies received for this event goes to Gilda's,Cancer Survivors. Mr.
Waiz made the motion to APPROVE,seconded by Mr.Owen, passing on a vote of 3-0.
ADJOURNMENT: No further business of the BPW meeting adjourned at 9:55 AOB :
